…and recently Kentucky wed.
Since you’re here I’m guessing you’d like a little more info on your home gurl. I was born an Urban Cajun, transformed into a Rural Okie and now blazing through life as a Kentucky Wife. I write about my life, faith, my fur-child Oliver, over share about the handsome fella I married and mix it all in with some agriculture flavor.
I am quirky, love expanding my vocabulary, say what I think, embrace being a nerd, feel it’s perfectly acceptable to belt out Broadway and Disney tunes while doing the dishes and have been known to wear cowboy boots with gym shorts. I make no apologies for being me.
Now the nitty-gritty and a little more serious. I worked through college as a wildland firefighter for the BIA (Bureau of Indian Affairs). I proudly earned my Bachelors in Agriculture Communications and Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State (Go Pokes!) in 2012. My husband works on his family farm where they raise cattle and poultry. On our own, My Someone and I currently raise cattle. Basically, what I’d like you to take from this little resume-style excerpt is that while on this blog I try to keep things light and fun, I take forestry, land conservation, livestock production, humane treatment of animals and transparency about all the above very seriously. So (nicely) chunk any questions you have my way!
